Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody announced retirement from the band during a concert in Denver, CO on Oct. 14, 2022. He took the stage with his children and gave a speech that probably no fans expected to hear.
He said: “So I made them a deal today and I’m going to stick to it. After this year I am going to make one more Five Finger Death Punch album and then I am retiring from heavy metal.
We’ll have to do that one more time. I’ll play Red Rocks one more time. I owe you everything.”
At this point we hope that the next 5FDP album will come as late as possible.
