Five Finger Death Punch replaced by Floor Jansen on first Metallica’s world tour shows

Metallica will begin their world tour on April 27 and 29 at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The April 27 show will feature Architects and Mammoth WVH and the April 29 show will now feature Ice Nine Kills and Floor Jansen taking the place of Five Finger Death Punch.

Regarding 5FDP, Metallica commented: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Five Finger Death Punch cannot join us Saturday in Amsterdam… stepping in for them will be Floor Jansen from Nightwish performing a solo set in support of her album, Paragon. Thanks for joining us, Floor – can’t wait to see your set!”

Five Finger Death Punch has not yet commented on what happened, but it may relate to the hernia surgery undergone by singer Ivan Moody a few days ago.
