Former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook recently announced his new band and shared a preview of the material he is working on.

He also recently talked about his exit from Five Finger Death Punch. We recall that Jason Hook was replaced by Andy James during the band’s European tour in 2020. During the tour Hook was hospitalized for gallbladder surgery and months later Hook’s exit from the band was confirmed, with Andy James taking his place.

Jason, who joined Five Finger Death Punch in 2009, said about leaving 5FDP: “As for the reason I left the band…well, there really isn’t just one. I’ve been in bands my entire life and I feel like I’ve done all the good that I can here. It’s time to pass the baton and move on to new challenges.”
