New Sixx: A.M. drummer needed six months to decide to join the band

SIXX: A.M. new drummer Dustin Steinke was recently interviewed by The Orillia Packet & Times, you can read some excerpts below.

Steinke played with SIXX: A.M. in Japan and North America in 2015. About how he became the full time drummer for the band, he said: "At the end of that tour, at the very last show, Nikki sat with me and he said, 'This is your gig if you want it. No one's going to take it from you. You don't have to worry. It's weird. There's still days where I'm like, what the heck is going on?"

Steinke was previously a member of the Bleeker. He said: "I've only ever played with those guys. Leaving that band was the hard part. I didn't want to upset them. I didn't want to lose the friendship. Nikki offered me the part at the end of April. It probably took me from then until the end of October to make a decision."
