Members of hard rock band CounterFlux killed in car crash

Three members of Ohio hard rock band CounterFlux were killed in a car crash on February 13 morning.

The vehicle collided with a separate vehicle that was driving on the wrong side of Interstate 75 in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Authorities suspect alcohol played a role in the tragedy.

Bassist Aleks Clayborn posted on band's Facebook page: "I'm sure most of you have heard by now, but for those of you who haven't, we lost Earl, Kyle, and Devin early this morning. There's nothing worse than losing friends, family or otherwise. These guys became like brothers to Matt and myself. Our hearts and prayers go out to their families, no parent should ever have to go through this, ever."
