Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson: "We wanna keep trying to do this for as long as we can"

Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson was recently interviewed by Toazted, you can read some excerpts below.

About the fact that Slipknot hit a somewhat turbulent patch after the release of 2008's "All Hope Is Gone" album, Sid said: "I don't know if I can make sure of stopping anything from happening ever again, 'cause, I mean, there's so many variables involved with any kind of equation, you know what I mean?! You can only be one part of the equation and do your job as that part of the equation. So, like, if I'm not... It's always my job to be '0' in the equation. How someone else ends up equating out of, for me being part of that equation, is entirely up to them, basically. But I will say that we've definitely grown a lot. We've definitely been able to take steps to prevent from anything happening to us, at least as much as we can. There's always things that are out of your control. But we've definitely gotten to a point where the people involved are all on the same page and we all agree that we wanna keep trying to do this for as long as we can. So there's certain things that we have to put in place and certain things we have to do to enable us to do this."
