Doctor says Dave Grohl may not walk normally for months

According to The Pulse Of Radio Orthopedic trauma surgeon Andy Murphy, who works at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital in England and also happens to play in a Foo Fighters tribute band
said: "He's not going to be able to walk normally, without a brace, for at least six weeks. And for a man who spends most of his time running around a stage at full speed, it will probably be a couple of months before he's back to that level of action on the road."

Murphy added: "Dave sustained a nasty fracture of the distal fibula, the small bone on the outside of the ankle. X-rays show the fracture was displaced and needed surgical fixation. He has a low profile locking titanium plate and screws holding the fractured bone together. His treatment looks excellent."
